In addition to scholarly presentations and discussions, the 25th anniversary conference of NAJAKS featured performances by the following musicians whose artistry is inspired by Japanese, Korean, and Nordic traditions:

-Opening Reception with recital by shakuhachi player Jonathan Kenzen McCollum [1], as well as jazz performance by David G. Hebert [2] (trumpet and baritone voice) and friends: Stein Bakke [3] (piano), Egil Haugland [4] (tenor voice), Anne Kristine Wallace Turøy [5] (alto voice and flugal horn), and Silje Valde Onsrud [6] (soprano voice).

-Conference Dinner with concert by Minni Ilmonen and the Helsinki Koto Ensemble [7].

-Concluding Recital by distinguished pianists from the Grieg Academy, performing unique repertoire by Korean and Japanese composers:
